The reception children are learning about jungle animals this week through our animal themed stories, Rumble in the Jungle, The Lion Who Wanted to Love and Monkey Puzzle.
We have worked really hard today in Science, thinking about which materials might build the strongest house. We have learnt some new skills on the iPads using Book Creator and have taken pictures and videos to add to our book!
Year 6 worked hard this morning writing biographies. They used the plans they had written on their iPads. Look out for some of these on Pobble.

We used airdrop this morning in year 6 so that everyone could refer to a good example of a paragraph plan. It also means we can look at it in the future even when it is not displayed in the classroom.

The first training event was held this morning for teachers looking to improve the use of ipads in their schools. Ray Weaver lead the session with teachers from various parts of Lancashire.
