Oh no! Year 1 and 2 have had a disaster this morning on World Book Day! We have received a secret letter to tell us our coloured pencils have quit! We are now busily writing letters to persuade them to come back!
Year 2 enjoyed playing in the snow.
We had a great day today at school with a visit from the poet, Paul Cookson. He worked with Year 1 to Year 6 writing some great poems.
Miss Ottey became Mrs Plummer on Saturday 5th August at a lovely wedding in the picturesque village of Burnsall. Mr and Mrs Plummer had a beautiful day and we wish them both much happiness in their life together. Congratulations from all at St James’!
Well done everyone. A great exhibition of all our artwork.
Today Vicky from Judo Education has visited us at school. We will be having an after school club after half term. She has shown us some different moves and games that will be played at the club. Look out for the application letters tonight. REMEMBER Judo moves should only be done on a mat and when a judo instructor it there.
Today we have had a visit from some guide dogs. We have learnt about the dogs and how they are trained.
We have been exploring shapes to find lines of symmetry.
We have been creating our own Starry Night paintings.
Please find details of an event held at Chorley library over the holidays.
