HOW TO APPLY FOR A SCHOOL PLACE AT CHORLEY ST. JAMES’ PRIMARY SCHOOL

You can register an expression of interest at school or apply to join our school Nursery.

When your child will turn 5 years old between 1st September and 31st August you must apply for a school place by applying on-line:

The application online system will be open from September until January.

All applications are processed by Lancashire Education Authority. St. James receives details of all children whose parents have selected our school as one of their choices of prefered schools.

Please be aware that as we are a Voluntary Aided Church School, there is also a supplementary form to complete which can also be found online. The supplementary form must be returned to St. James.

IN YEAR ADMISSIONS

If your child is already school age and you have either moved into the school area or wish to change the preference of your current school, you must contact Mrs Greenway, Headteacher to make an appointment to apply for an place.  These admissions will only take place subject to places being available in the appropriate year group.
