Year 3 really enjoyed tri-golf today and tested their maths skills by scoring at the different stations.
Mr Greener came in to play rounders with year 6 which we really enjoyed.
Year 3 used stop watches and timed each other completing challenges to learn about time. They learnt how to time things in seconds and milliseconds.
Year 3 weren’t deterred by the rain yesterday and really enjoyed a soggy tennis session. Wimbledon here we come!
Year 3 enjoyed an energetic session from Wigan Athletic.

Year 6 spent some time planning games to play with the nursery children to encourage counting and keeping fit. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t suitable to carry them out today so watch this space after half term when the weather is better.
Year 3 really enjoyed the orienteering challenge set around school yesterday, they worked really well in teams.

After the assembly with Katie, year 6 did some training. We looked at the skills needed for running. We also tried to improve our reaction times which involved closing our eyes! Ask Year 6s what it involved.
